Directions from Tang Hall to our York base
Tang Hall is a busy east York neighbourhood of terraces, semis and some shared student houses. Streets off Tang Hall Lane and towards Burnholme can be tight once residents are home. Our Fenwick Street base is about two miles away across the city, so we time the run around Hull Road traffic and school peaks.
Say if there is a rear alley, a shared driveway, or only on-street parking. ResPark does not cover every Tang Hall street, but where it does, City of York Council rules still apply. We would rather plan a short carry than block a bus route. Insurance is provided. Ask what is covered when you book.
Most Tang Hall postcodes are YO31. A room move or a small flat often suits man and van or student removals. A full house needs packing support if you want boxes done ahead of completion. Furniture-only loads are fine when you are not moving everything in one go.
Tang Hall Explore at Burnholme is the local library and community hub, with cafe space and PCs. Use Mossdale Avenue, YO31 0HA, not the old Fifth Avenue site. For tips, Hazel Court on the east side of the city is often the practical HWRC once you have booked a slot. School admissions go through City of York Council for the new address.
Useful contacts on this page cover City of York Council, parking permits, North Yorkshire Police, York Hospital and local libraries or parks. Use those official links for bins, school places and tip bookings. For the move itself, call 01904599132 and we will talk through the load, the van size and the best time to start from Fenwick Street.
When you request a quote, include both postcodes, the property type, and any access notes such as stairs, lifts, narrow lanes or ResPark bays. We work from 14 Fenwick Street, York YO23 1JR, and we are open Monday to Sunday, 24 hours. A clear brief on the day you call helps us send the right van and crew without guessing on the kerb.
See house removals and student removals. We also cover Heworth, Osbaldwick and Dunnington. Call 01904599132 for a free quote.
